Marie Sawa has been planning events since 2002. She currently works as an event and marketing specialist for a financial services firm in Toronto. Her experience ranges over a wide variety of events including: weddings, corporate parties, fundraisers, gala dinners, birthday and anniversary parties, corporate meetings and retreats, sporting events and conferences.

In 2006, Marie was approached to use her event management experience to coordinate a friends wedding. Marie Sawa Events was born that day between the ceremony and reception while laying out the guest favors.
